The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains in Akwa Ibom State have told Nigerians that when it comes to violence, the party has the ace.

The two men, who are seen on Twitter posted by Ibomplazanews, assured Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State of their abilities to unleash violence in the state.

According to them, since a member representing Ikot Abasi Federal Constituency is with them, no other person was capable of challenging them when it comes to violence.

They were addressing other PDP members from Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District. They also asked candidates from other senatorial districts to keep off the Akwa Ibom South senatorial district during their political campaigns.

“If they’re talking about violence, violence, violence assuming if my Federal Member for Ikot Abasi was there, I would have panicked but since he is here, we are safe.

“So, who own the violence? Sir, go to other Senatorial Districts and do campaigns; for Eket Senatorial District (Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District) your vote is sure.

“When they are talking about violence, where is it coming from? Not in Eket Senatorial District, because the men that know the business are with you. We cannot move anywhere, we will stand with His Excellences, the governor of Akwa Ibom State,” they said.

The PDP Publicity Secretary in Akwa Ibom State, Mr Borono Bassey could not be reached for comments. He did not answer calls made on his mobile phone nor respond to a text message that was sent to his telephone.
