In a remarkable feat that has placed Nigeria on the global academic map, Cara Victor Antai, an 11-year-old prodigy from Akwa Ibom State, has emerged as one of the world’s best young minds in the TeenEagle UK Global Finals 2025.
Cara, daughter of Chief Victor Antai, the Executive Director of Projects at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), displayed exceptional brilliance in the English Language and critical thinking, distinguishing herself among hundreds of participants from across the globe.
Speaking shortly after the announcement, proud parents and Nigerian delegates at the event described Cara’s performance as an inspiration, not only to children in Akwa Ibom State and the Niger Delta region but to all young Nigerians striving for excellence.
TeenEagle, regarded as one of the most prestigious global competitions for teenagers, brings together brilliant young scholars from different countries to compete in language, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

This year’s finals, held in London, witnessed intense competition and showcased the intellectual prowess of participants from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Cara’s outstanding achievement has drawn praise from academics, parents, and education stakeholders in Nigeria.
