Tinubu's emergence is will of God - Bayelsa APC chieftain

Pastor Reuben Wilson chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Bayelsa State, says the emergency of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Nigeria is the handiwork of God.

Wilson, who is also the South-South Coordinator of The Asiwaju Group, (TAG) said this in a statement issued on Saturday in Yenagoa.

According to him, the emergency of Tinubu as the APC flagbearer when most people never gave him any chance of winning the election was an indication that God is at work.

He added that with the expertise and experience of the President and crop of competent technocrats he has groomed, the nation is bound to witness prosperity.

He noted that Tinubu as a leader endorsed by God has come to transform Nigeria and put the nation on the path of progress.

Wilson said he has implicit confidence in Tinubu to deliver the dividends of democracy and restore Nigeria to the glorious path of peace, unity and prosperity.

“The victory and inauguration were well deserved. We worked for it, when we started, we worked tirelessly for this victory. And what we saw afterwards, will remain indelible in the hearts of Nigerians.

“If you can flash back from the primaries to the campaigns to the election and successful take off of Tinubu’s administration, God has been there for this country.

“My advice to Nigerians is for them to have faith and be expectant of improved quality of life and grow their love for our fatherland and expect better days ahead after the initial challenges,” Wilson said. The APC support group leader noted that the smooth transition and take off of Tinubu led administration signals a new dawn in Nigeria’s democracy, adding that Tinubu is destined to salvage the country.
