Tinubu picks former Borno Governor, Kashim Shettima as running mate
The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate for the 2023 elections and former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, picked Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
It was learnt that Tinubu visited President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the leader of the party in his hometown in Daura, Katsina State on Sunday to present Shettima to him.
President Buhari is visiting Daura since Friday for the Eid-el Kabir celebration.
It was gathered that Shettima worked hard for Tinubu’s victory at the APC primary.
Shettima is a Senator representing Borno Central Senatorial District, and a former two-term governor of Borno State.
