So-Safe Corps assures hitch free 2023 Eid-il-Kabir in Ogun

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps also known as So-Safe Corps, has assured the law-abiding citizens, visitors, well-wishers and the Muslim community across the state of utmost security of both their lives and property.

This is contained in a press release issued from the office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf.

The statement said that as the ILEYA Festive period approaches, all Zonal, Area Commanders and Special Squads of the agency across the length and breadth of the state have been instructed to work with the Nigeria Police Force in their various commands to jointly actualise the Excellent Community Policing Project embarked upon by the incumbent Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

Ganzallo in his words, further directs his officers and men to ensure our communities are secured and the people are safe to and from the Eid Prayer Ground.

He noted that all Eid Grounds in the State should be properly monitored while prayer is on.

Ganzallo warns that no beggars should be allowed within and outside the Eid Prayer Ground as such may pose security threats to the worshippers.

The commander thereby advises every Imam to remind the worshippers to remember that only in an atmosphere of love and tolerance for one another can peace flourish.

He then congratulates all Muslims in the State for witnessing the year 2023 Eid-il-Kabir period.

Let’s remember Eid has come and it will definitely come to an end. We should exercise patience in all we do before, during and after the period.
