So-Safe Corps arrests 10 Nigeriens at Ihunbo, Ogun State

The Ogun State-owned security outfit – Ogun State So-Safe Corps, on Sunday, 1 January 2022 arrested 10 male illegal immigrants from the Niger Republic at Ihunbo Community in Ipokia Local Government Area.
This is contained in a press statement issued from the Office of the State Commander of the Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, said that the 10 male aliens apprehended allegedly penetrated into Nigeria through illegal routes and were caught by the Idiroko Divisional team of the corps who were on a routine patrol led by the Divisional Officer, CSC Abdulkareem Abdulrazak.
Ganzallo noted that the aliens confessed that they successfully made their way into the country through water and thick forest through Ipokia Local Government axis to engage in farming in Ita-Egbe Village in the same Local Government.
Ganzallo further noted that the aliens are well profiled and they are: Yusuf Mohammed; Nura Abdullahi; Afisu Dairu; Gafar Abdulmumeen; Abubakar Subair; Amisu Nasiru; Illiasu Yahyah; Ibrahim Audu; Suraju Ibrahim, and Mohammed Garuba (team leader).
Ganzallo made it known that the arrested aliens had been transferred to the Nigeria Immigration, Ogun State Command for further investigation and likely repatriation.
The commandant, however, advised the general public to be concerned about anything that could negate the security of lives and properties in the environment, he urged members of the public to report to the So-Safe and other law enforcement agencies for necessary actions.
