NECO releases 2020 SSCE results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the internal Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE). 

The number of candidates who passed five subjects at credit levels including English Language and Mathematics have increased by two per cent. 

The Registrar of the council, Professor Godswill Obioma, said this at the NECO Headquarters in Minna on Wednesday. 

It was learnt that the examination body has also derecognised 12 schools for taking part in mass cheating and whole school cases of malpractice. 

According to him, the schools derecognised include four schools in Adamawa, two in Kaduna, two in Kastina, two in Niger, one in Taraba and one in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
