Nasarawa police constable shoots himself to death while on duty

A police constable identified as Dogara Akolo Moses has reportedly shot himself dead while carrying out his duty in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
Investigations revealed that the constable was going about his usual duties when he suddenly went into a private room and shot himself.
His colleagues rushed to the scene after hearing the gunshot and found Moses lying in the pool of blood; his service gun was beside him.
It was gathered that at the time, the reason behind his actions remains unknown.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Nasarawa State Command, Ramhan Nasel, said the investigation was still ongoing to determine what led to the tragic event.
