Man Impregnates 14-year-old daughter in Ogun

*Five arrested over alleged carnal knowledge of the teenager

The police in Ogun State have arrested one Amoda Bola, 49 for the accusation of impregnating his 14-year-old daughter.

The police in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect who lives in Idi-Oro Street, Ode Remo, first denied the allegations but later confessed to impregnating the girl when confronted.

The victim alleged that her father with whom she has been living for years did not only have carnal knowledge of her but also invited other men to the house to sleep with her and pay him (father).

According to Oyeyemi, the suspect’s confession led to the arrest of five others who had slept with the victim at different times at his invitation.

Oyeyemi said the other suspects are Ahmed Ogunkoya 30; Muyiwa Adeoye, 48; David Sunday Solaja, 69; Emmanuel Olusanya, 50, and Joshua Olaniran, also 50 years old.

He stated that all the suspects had confessed to having carnal knowledge of the 14 years old girl and paid money to the father.

It was learnt that the victim whose mother had separated from the father years back, has been living with the father, and turned her into a prostitute.

The victim has been taken to State Hospital Isara, Remo where it was confirmed that she is pregnant.

The victim has insisted that it was her father who is responsible for the pregnancy being the only person who slept with her within the period she got pregnant.

Relatedly, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to the Anti-humans Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation and possible prosecution.
