Just in: UNILAG Senate asks students to leave halls of residence immediately
The Senate of the University of Lagos has asked all students to vacate halls of residence instantly.
The university also said that it would resume virtual lectures starting from July 26, 2021.
The order to leave the halls of residence and the decision to resume virtual learning were the outcomes of the meeting of the Senate on Wednesday afternoon, July 14, 2021.
UNILAG Vice Chancellor, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, had earlier summoned an emergency meeting of the senate over the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the institution.
