Fatal collision as plane makes emergency landing on road
A motorist has died in western Canada after a small passenger aircraft struck a vehicle while making an emergency landing on a road, police confirmed.
The collision occurred on Thursday afternoon on Foothills Boulevard in Prince George, British Columbia, a city located more than 700 kilometres (435 miles) north of Vancouver.

Emergency response images show the light aircraft coming to rest on a grassy embankment beside a wooded area off the roadway.
“Police are saddened to confirm that there has been one fatality in this incident, an occupant of one of the vehicles,” the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) stated.” It remains unconfirmed whether any passengers or crew on board the aircraft sustained injuries.
