#EndSARS protests: Obiano raises alarm over plans to attack state Monday

Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has raised the alarm over alleged plans by hoodlums to attack the state on Monday.

Obiano was said to have issued the warning over the weekend, in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area, when the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Celestine Okoye, visited him.

The governor, while stating that he will never allow such to happen, directed the operatives of the joint task force (JTF) to take control of the situation.

According to security briefings, the governor was said to have indicted neighbouring states over an attempt to cause trouble in Anambra.

Obiano called on traditional rulers, the presidents general of the communities, including the vigilance groups and youths to make sure the plans by the hoodlums are frustrated.
