EFCC nabs nine suspected Internet fraudsters in Enugu

Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested nine suspected internet fraudsters in Enugu.
They were arrested on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, based on verified intelligence about their suspicious internet-related activities.
Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, named the suspects as Victor Odinaka Itodo, Opara Jacob Chukwuanayo, Emmanuel Ozioma Ifeanyi, Ibeh Chisom, Godswill Chiemerie, Okafor Amarachukwu, Victor Chinaecherem Okoro, Franklin Anosike and Itodo Jude Chigozie.
He added that the anti-graft agency also recovered five vehicles, 25 mobile phones of different brands and seven laptops from the suspects. Uwujaren stated that the suspects would be charged as soon as investigations are concluded.
