EFCC nabs 15 suspected Internet fraudsters in Lagos

Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos.
Head, Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, said the suspects were arrested during a sting operation on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Maple and Jand Court, Royal Pine Estate, Orchid Road, Lekki, Lagos, following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in fraudulent internet-related activities.
According to him, the commission recovered mobile phones, laptops, and cars from the suspects. Oyewale added that the suspects would be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
