EFCC arrests 40 suspected Internet fraudsters in Nassarawa

Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 40 suspected internet fraudsters.
In a statement on Thursday, Head, Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale added that the suspects were arrested on Wednesday, April 29, 2025, in Tamah, in the Tamah Local Government Area of Nassarawa State.
Their arrest followed actionable intelligence linking them with suspected fraudulent activities.
The statement revealed that items recovered from them include five laptops and 34 mobile phones.
Oyewale assured that the suspects would be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigations.
