EFCC arrests 13 suspected Internet fraudsters in Abuja

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Zonal Command have arrested 13 (thirteen) suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.

Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Dele Oyewale, said on Tuesday that the suspects were arrested at the Kubwa area of Abuja following actionable intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.

He explained that the suspects comprised 12 males and one female, adding that the items recovered from them included 12 phones and laptops.

Oyewale stated that the suspects would be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
