Commercial drivers protest against LASTMA extortion

Commercial bus drivers in Lagos State are protesting against the unending extortion by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and Task Force on Monday.

It was gathered that a week ago, commercial drivers announced that they would proceed on the strike on Monday, 13 November to protest the anomaly by the agencies.

It was, however, learnt that some stranded workers had to return home after endless hours of waiting at the bus.

Some workers were said to have either walked to their different places of work, while some were said to have arrived at their places of work late after endless hours of waiting at the bus stops.
