Chinese firm berths in Bayelsa, pledges to train lab scientists

Sancare Biomedical Ltd, a Chinese Medical and Laboratory Equipment manufacturers on Saturday it has responded to the investment drive of the Bayelsa government to invest in the state.

The Manager of the company Mr Elijah Ehika who spoke at the sidelines of the just-concluded scientific conference of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria in Yenagoa said the firm would soon open shop in Bayelsa.

He said that their company is willing and ready to partner with Bayelsa government in the area of training and capacity building of Medical Laboratory Technologists in the services of the state

He said the company has concluded plans to open a branch in Bayelsa. to commence operations adding that the investment drive of the present administration was attractive.

He also said that the investment of the company in Bayelsa will create jobs for the people as the state would serve as an operational hub for the South-South region.

He said that given the suitable investment climate created by the government, the collaboration will also bring about upgrade the scientific Laboratory Equipment across the state. 

Ehika explained that Sancare Biomedical is an International leading manufacturer of scientific laboratory and other equipment and technical service provider in delivering of top-quality medical equipment to distributors across Africa in the Health Care Industry.

According to him the products of the company have been tested and certified by different regulatory medical bodies.

Ehika also said that equipment manufacture by the Chinese firm has been endorsed by the Association of Medical Scientists of Nigeria and hence the approval to exhibit their product and share their wealth of experience.

He added that the company participated in the scientific conference to prefer solutions to challenges faced by Laboratory Scientists to improve their technological know-how and exhibit new products that could be deployed to render the right services in Bayelsa health sector.
