Actress Iyabo Ojo has cautioned other Nollywood actors against defending Baba Ijesha on the allegation of child defilement.

The actress, who fumed at the alleged child defilement by her colleague, added that she is a mother and does not support rubbish.

Iyabo Ojo took to her instagram page to vent her anger and dissatisfaction on the child’s defilement shame.

“Since yesterday I have been seeing a lot of posts, people using Baba Ijesha’s picture, writing stuffs, some are saying he was framed, some are saying we should wait, this and that.

“I just want to beg my colleagues, please in no way should we try to defend him because this is one of the reasons why a lot of girls that are being molested, alot of boys that are being molested and raped cannot come out to voice out.

“It is not only a girl child that get raped, boy child, too get raped. This is the reason why a lot of them don’t come out to voice their opinion, most especially if they have been molested or raped by a prominent person or known person, someone in power or a popular person.

“We always try to look for excuse, there is no excuse. There is no excuse for rape, there is no excuse for molestation. A paedophile is a paedophile, he doesn’t need any excuse to rape. I am not judging him and I am not calling him a paedophile but I have heard the story.

“He molested a child and raped the child 7 years ago like the child said. He was invited over, they set him up by putting a camera and eventually he fell, right? Why did he fall, that is question number one. Question number two, we cannot judge him now because you know why, we have to leave that to the court and for the judges to do.

“Until the court make their verdict, please don’t ask them to post that video because a minor is involved. A 14-year-old girl is involved in that video and if you are a mother and a father, I don’t think you would want your child’s video where she is being molested parading on the internet.

“He is arrested, he is being detained, if you want to know information on where he is, you can get a lawyer or you can go there yourself and find out what is going. Don’t come to social media and say because we are celebrity, we want to protect his image. If you are a celebrity and you are an adult and you did not think of your status before you committed such a crime you are on your own.

“I don’t support rubbish, I am a mother, and I will not support any rubbish and it is annoying when you come on social media and you are trying to defend him and saying that he was set up, excuse me, there is a 14years old girl involved. Are you guys okay? Can you people be okay or what? Please don’t compare Baba Suwe case to this one, is two different things.”
