NABTEB fixes 10 September deadline for exam registration

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced 10 September as the deadline for registration for its 2026 November/December certificate examinations.

Assistant Director of Media and Protocol, Uchechukwu Olisah, disclosed this in a statement issued in Benin on Sunday.

He explained that registration for the National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations began on 10 August. Candidates who have not yet registered must complete the process by 10 September.

Olisah added that registration for the December Modular Trades Certificate Examination would remain open until 30 September.

He stated that the fees are ₦22,500 for NBC/NTC, ₦25,500 for ANBC/ANTC, and ₦6,000 for the Modular Trades Certificate Examination.

The spokesperson urged candidates, schools, technical and vocational institutions, apprenticeship centres and other stakeholders to comply with the approved requirements and to obtain registration information only through authorised channels to avoid errors or delays.

He emphasised that the examinations form part of NABTEB’s mandate to provide competency‑based assessment and certification in business and technical education, contributing to skilled manpower development and promoting technical and vocational training as a pathway to economic empowerment and self‑reliance.
