30 die as Nigeria records 459 COVID-19 new cases

Thirty Nigerians have died from Covid-19 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) records 459 new cases within 24 hours.

This number triggers Nigeria’s COVID-19 case load to 195,511.

NCDC statistics from the NCDC shows that Lagos has 185 of the new cases, Abia and Oyo recorded 38, Akwa Ibom and Cross River- 33, Osun-24, Ekiti-23, Benue-15, Kwara-14 and Kano 12 new cases.

Delta and the FCT recorded 10 new cases, Edo-9, Kaduna-5, Ogun-3, Katsina, Nasarawa and Rivers recorded 2 cases, while Bayelsa has just a case this time around.

It was gathered that 184,529 treated cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 2,552.
