Youths stab IKEDC worker for trying to disconnect community from electricity

A worker of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) was stabbed on the head with a broken bottle by some youths of a community in Lagos for trying to disconnect power from the community.
It was learnt that the community had not got power supply for over three weeks.
It was said that when the worker arrived the area to disconnect the electricity consumers that had not paid their electricity bills, the angry residents descended on him, and stabbed him many times on the head.
A viral video via social media showed that the man was groaning in pains as his wounded head was being stitched by a nurse.
