Villages strip pastors after being caught with charms

A pastor, Bishop Elijah Chukwuebuka, was beaten with sticks, stripped, and paraded by villagers in Umunze, Anambra State after he was caught with what was alleged to be charms.
In a trending video, the pastor, who is the founder of God of Light Anointing Ministry, Chukwuebuka was ordered by the villages to carry the pot of charms and female underwears in his church in Nsogwu, Umunze, at around 5pm on Wednesday.
It was learnt that the youths stormed the church with a view to burning the pastor popularly known as Big Daddy, but he was rescued and taken to the Igwe’s palace in Umunze.
