Topfaith University strikes partnership with UNIUYO

The management of the University of Uyo has pledged to assist the newly licensed Topfaith University in the development of her academic programmes and faculties.

Speaking at a recent visit of the officials of the Topfaith University to the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), the Vice Chancellor of UNIUYO, Professor Nyaudo Ndaeyo expressed delight at the establishment of the institution and the readiness of the university’s management to collaborate with the budding tertiary institution to achieve its goals in the years to come.

Earlier, leader of the Topfaith University delegation and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr. Emmanuel Abraham, said Topfaith University was in UNIUYO to seek useful partnership with the leadership of the University of Uyo in the realisation of its academic objectives.

He said: “It is an opportunity for us to solicit for and establish a mentor-mentee relationship with the great University of Uyo,” in furtherance of the expected future growth and expansion of Topfaith University programmes as prescribed by the National Universities Commission.

He stated that Topfaith University, promoted through the Thomas Abraham Foundation is a logical advancement of the vision of providing academic excellence through cutting-edge research and teaching.

He, however, pledged the commitment of the management team to skipper the Topfaith University venture to becoming a world-class institution in the immediate future.

Abraham then made a case for the expert advice and support of the UNIUYO in staff recruitment, development, and general quality assurance services.

The visitation also featured special presentations by the Chancellor of Topfaith University and Paramount Ruler of Onna Local Government Area, HRM, Edidem Raymond T. Inyang and brief remarks by the Pro-chancellor, Prof. Akaneren Essien, the Chairman, Topfaith University Planning and Implementation Committee, Prof. Okon Ansa and Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Ebewo.
