Senator Ekpenyong to unveil life-touching projects for constituents in A’Ibom

Senator Chris Ekpenyong representing Akwa Ibom Northwest in the National Assembly is to unveil 33 life-touching projects for his constituents.

Ekpenyong, who spoke with journalists in Uyo, described his tenure in the Natıonal Assembly as eventful but ruled out his second term bid.

He said the period has brought him closer to the grassroots to understand their feelings and challenges.

Senator Ekpenyong, who represents Akwa Ibom North West (Ikot Ekpene) Senatorial District also scored himself high saying, he has constructed 33 constituency projects that are spread across the 10 Local Government Areas of the Senatorial District.

Ekpenyong said he has also sponsored some bills seeking “to bring development projects to the State” assuring that, before his tenure lapses in 2023, “the people will experience the full impacts of my representation”.

Some of the projects billed for inauguration next week include a skill acquisition centre, solar-powered water project, markets, schools renovation, construction of classroom blocks, road projects and empowerment of youths in vocational training and scholarships.

“I was sent by my people and, I am happy to report progress that several development projects have been attracted alongside bills that will improve the standard of life of our communities and the people”, he said.
