Police refute kidnap of Chief Uche Nwosu

The Imo State Police Command has disclaimed the kidnap of Chief Uche Nwosu, instead, the command stated that the man was arrested.
The command in a statement on Sunday, December 26, 2021, affirmed that Chief Uche Nwosu was not kidnapped but was arrested by the police, adding that the Imo State Police Command is aware of the arrest as the man is in police custody.
“This is to refute the earlier news that has been making rounds on social media that Chief Uche Nwosu was kidnapped by unknown persons/gunmen,” the command’s spokesman, CSP Michael Abattam said in the statement.
He added that the Commissioner of Police while using this medium to assure Imolites of the command’s commitment in ensuring the safety of life and prosperity this yuletide seasons, asked the public to always shun fake news.
