Ogun security outfit recovers stolen motorcycle as suspect escapes

The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has recovered a stolen motorcycle in the state while the suspect took to his heels.
This was contained in a press release issued from the office of the State Commander of the corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the Office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf.
The commander said that at about 2:45hrs on Monday, December, 12th. 2022 the officers of the corps, Idiroko Division while on routine patrol led by the Divisional Officer CSC Abdulkareem Abdulrazaq sighted from distance in Elediye Street, Olorunsogo Quarters, Opposite Ifonyin Community Bank, Ajegunle in Ipokia Local Government Area, a man pushing a motorcycle.
He said: “The officers suspected the action and while they tried to apprehend him without any injury, he abandoned the motorcycle and escaped through the other street.
“Not quite long after the recovery of the motorcycle, the owner approached the Corps Office in Idiroko to report a case of his missing motorcycle where it was packed.”
Ganzallo narrated that the gate was locked, but he woke up around 3 am and discovered that a thief has jumped over the fence to steal it and left the gate wide open.
The commander added that the owner was asked to provide details of the missing motorcycle and himself and all were tallied with the recovered item.
Meanwhile, the motorcycle has been directed to be released to the rightful owner with immediate effect.
