According to the statement, the agency was able to secure the release of Mr Seyi Olorunsogo, a kidnap victim who was kidnapped right in front of the gate of his house at Solu, Rounder, Abeokuta.

Oke was said to be on his hunting profession in the bush where he was kidnapped. Later with his vast knowledge of the routes in the bush, he escaped from his abductors.

“He as well made it known that some hunters joined the operation and the bush was aggressively combed. In this process one of the So-Safe officers leading the team, got shot by the kidnappers. He is currently responding to treatment.
“The two (2) arrested kidnap suspects are Umoru, an indigent of Kwara and Alliu who hailed from Kebbi State while the other four (4) who escaped arrest and are at large will definitely be brought to book as So-Safe and Hunters continue combing the bush in the Area.”
