NOA engages in investment evaluation, economic growth in S’Korea

The National Orientation Agency (NOA), represented by a senior delegation, has commenced participation in the Study Mission on Promoting Evaluation of Investment and Impact Assessment for Economic Growth, taking place in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from December 8 to 12.

This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Bala Musa, Director, Communication and Media and made available to newsmen in Uyo on Wednesday.

Musa said on the first day of the mission, Sherifat Adegbesan, Special Assistant on Intergovernmental Affairs to the Director General of NOA, delivered a well-received presentation titled:

“Trust, Values, and Growth: The Economic Impact of Social Contract Fulfilment in Nigeria.”

Her presentation explored the role of civic trust, value-based governance, and institutional accountability in driving inclusive economic development, drawing on Nigeria’s evolving model under the Nigerian Identity Project and the National Values Charter.

She highlighted Nigeria’s efforts to rebuild public trust through structured civic reorientation, youth engagement, and leadership ethics, presenting it as a replicable framework for emerging economies.

The Nigerian delegation is led by senior management staff of the agency.

The study mission is facilitated by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nigeria and brings together key stakeholders from multiple Nigerian MDAs to explore Korea’s internationally recognised best practices in impact assessment, policy evaluation, and value-driven economic planning.

NOA’s participation underscores the Agency’s leadership role in aligning governance reforms with national values and civic identity for long-term economic transformation.
