NIMN to host environmental conference, 2025 AGM in Uyo

The National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), has announced its upcoming events. It will hold its environment conference and 2025 annual general meeting (AGM) in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The President and Chairman of Council, NIMN, Mr Idorenyin Enang (FNIMN), announced details about the conference and AGM. It has the theme “Leveraging ESG in Driving Value Across Generations.” The event will be held between June 19 and 21, 2025.
Enang explained that ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. He said the conference will focus on integrating these principles into brand leadership. It will also cover strategy, innovation, and business decisions.
He stated that the conference will bring together top marketing professionals, executives, and policymakers. It will also include students, academia, and business leaders from across the country and beyond.
“AMC 2025 will be a convergent point for thought leaders and marketing professionals. They will engage in thought-provoking dialogues. These dialogues will elevate the Marketing profession. The conference will also spotlight Akwa Ibom as a destination for business, culture, and tourism.
The conference will feature several highlights. There will be a Marketing Symposium on Sustainable Marketing: The Future of Brand Leadership. It will also include the Annual Marketing Conference and a Fellowship Dinner. Additionally, there will be the Annual General Meeting and Elections.
“Delegates will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking sessions, panel discussions, and networking events. They will also get to experience the city’s culture. This includes city tours, cultural exhibitions, and culinary experiences of Akwa Ibom’s finest delicacies,” Enang explained.
The President said the choice of Uyo as the host city aligns with the Institute’s renewed commitment. They aim to decentralize professional engagement and spotlight regional excellence. This choice also emphasizes the importance of sustainable marketing practices across Nigeria.
He mentioned that the conference will create opportunity for marketers to come together and discuss the latest trends. They will explore best practices in the industry. It will also provide a platform for networking and building meaningful relationships.
