The MOSIEND president described Walson-Jack’s appointment as a square peg in a square hole; assuring the president that she will bring her wealth of experience to bear and reforms that will better the lots of the federal government and workers.

Tonj-West said Walson-Jack is a true daughter of the Ijaw nation who has always identified with her people and plays key roles in making life more meaningful to those who come across her.

“Didi is an asset to the federal government, and we know that President Tinubu will enjoy her wealth of experience because of her proven track record of integrity.

“She has always demonstrated even before 2017 that she became a permanent secretary at the federal level.

“The president will always enjoy her invaluable contributions to the growth and betterment of the civil service, as well as support to the government in implementing or accomplishing its policies especially as it relates to the workforce.

“Didi is passionate about one Nigeria and she’s not tribalistic at all, and we know she will not disappoint.

“We want all Niger Delta people to throw their weight behind her to succeed; so that she can be able to galvanize government to achieve the Renewed Hope agenda for the betterment of all,” he added.
