LGC poll: APC in A’Ibom expresses readiness, confidence to win

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom has expressed its readiness to participate in the Saturday’s local government election.
The Chairman, APC Local Government Election Campaign Council, Sen. Ita Enang said on Thursday that the party is fully prepared and committed to winning the local government elections.
“Our party has a strong grassroots presence, and we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure our candidates are well-equipped to serve the people.
“Our campaign strategy focuses on showcasing our achievements and promising continued development and progress for Akwa Ibom,” Enang said.
Enang, who also doubles as the chairman, APC Reconciliation Committee in Akwa Ibom, further reiterated that the party is poised for victory.
He said their candidates will deliver on the manifesto and campaign promises of the party if elected into office as chairmen of councils.
He outlined some of the intended programmes of APC for the local government areas to include; improved Infrastructure, upgrading roads, healthcare facilities, and education infrastructure, among others.
He urged the Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission (AKISIEC) to remain neutral, unbiased in the conduct of the election.
“We hope AKISIEC will conduct a free, fair, and transparent election come Saturday, Oct. 5,” he said.
He urged all APC members and supporters as well as the citizens of Akwa Ibom to go out en masse on Saturday and vote for the candidates of the party.
