LASEMA rescues residents as building sinks in Maryland, Lagos
Nine yet-to-be-identified ladies who were trapped when a storey building in the Maryland area of Lagos State, sank due to rainfall, have been rescued on Monday.
The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu confirmed the report in a message sent to Lagos Panorama
The sinking building is located at 47 Akinwunmi Street, Akinwunmi North Estate, Mende, Maryland, Ikeja.
