Lagos CP, other senior officers receive COVID-19 vaccination

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, on Monday, led other senior police officers, rank and file cadre to the command to take the COVID-19 vaccination at the Area ‘F’ Area Command, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State.
Odumosu, after the command’s management meeting and the press briefing on the achievements of the command, in his office, moved to the Vaccination centre at about 2.30pm.
By his action, he has ordered that every personnel of the Lagos State Police Command must be vaccinated as frontline workers.
According to him, all the police officers must be prevented from the pandemic and feel safe whenever they are on duty and, even off duty.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Monday, personnel on Area Command are to receive their jabs for ease of administration.
Odumosu, however, urged the general public to avail themselves the opportunity of the vaccination as the pandemic is real and must be tackled by all means.
