Lagos CP decorates Adejobi, other promoted officers with new ranks

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Hakeem Odumosu has decorated the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi with the rank of the Chief Superintendent of Police.
Apart from Adejobi, the CP also decorated other newly promoted officers to the ranks of Chief Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police.
CSP Kike Oshodi-Glover, was also among those promoted on Wednesday and decorated by the CP on Thursday.
Odumosu, who also decorated the newly promoted Commissioner of Police, Alli Mohammed, urged the senior officers to be more committed to their statutory duties and display high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties at all times.
He said: “To whom much is given, much is expected, as the command and the Nigeria Police Force expect much from you with your new rank. I urge you to harness all legitimate resources, both human and material, within your reach to improve policing in Lagos and Nigeria at large.”
Forty-three superintendents of Police were promoted to the chief superintendents of police and two deputy superintendents of police were elevated to full superintendents of police in Lagos Command.
Odumosu thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu for his fatherly concern on the general welfare of the police personnel across board and the leadership of the Police Service Commission for the consideration of the recommendations of the IGP on the promotions of personnel at various cadres.
