Ijaw youths hail Igetei’s feat, celebrate his birthday

Ijaw youths under the umbrella of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), have described RT Hon Bob Collins Igetei, the Speaker of the 5th Mobile Parliament of IYC embodies the essence of leadership in turbulent times.
They added that throughout his tenure, Igetei has epitomized honesty and integrity in his actions and decisions. His reputation as a man of impeccable character has earned him the trust and respect of his peers and colleagues alike.
Spokesman of IYC, Amb Binebai Princewill in a statement to mark the birthday of Igetei, said as a stable force amidst the storms of uncertainty, Igetei has demonstrated remarkable resilience and steadfastness in upholding the values and principles of the IYC.
According to the statement, even in the face of adversity, he stood firm with the support of Zonal, chapter chairmen, and other stakeholders to reposition Ijaw Youth Council as acting President in their bid to ensure a successful and United transition of power to the 9th NEC of the council.
The spokesman said Bob Collins Igetei’s role as a bridge builder within the IYC cannot be overemphasized. He has worked tirelessly to foster unity and harmony among diverse interests, bridging divides and forging consensus for the greater good of the Ijaw people.
