Gunmen kill APC Chairman in Kogi State
Gunmen have killed the APC chairman, Mr James Adah in Oganienugu community in the Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State.
It was learnt that the gunmen also killed other villagers.
The information available indicated that the hoodlums entered the village in the middle of the night on Sunday, April 2, 2023, and started shooting continuously, razed down many houses, and subsequently killed the ward Chairman of the All Progressive Congress and others in the village.
Meanwhile, the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has called for calm over the attack and has promised to bring those behind the heinous act to book. Security operatives have been deployed to the community to restore normalcy.
