FRSC sector commander, Francis Ajatta assumes duty in A’Ibom

Mr Francis Ajatta has assumed duty as the new Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS6.3 Akwa Ibom State Command.
This is in a statement issued by the command’s Public Enlightenment/Public Relations Officer, Mr Paul James, in Uyo, on Thursday.
James said that Ajatta took over from Mr Edward Odiete, who has been promoted and posted to a higher capacity.
He said that the appointment aims to strengthen the setup. This is for enhanced performance and efficiency in Road Traffic Management and Safety Administration in Nigeria.
“Following the promotion and subsequent posting of the former Sector Commander, Edward Odiete, a new Sector Commander has been appointed for Akwa Ibom State.
“He is Corps Commander Francis Ajatta, who hails from Lagos State. He graduated from the University of Port Harcourt. He also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Benin.
“He is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria,” James said.
James said that Odiete, in his farewell address, thanked the state government. He also expressed gratitude to major stakeholders. He thanked the Akwa Ibom people for cooperating and supporting him during his stay in the state.
The former sector commander encouraged everyone. He added that they should extend the same support and cooperation to the new sector commander. This cooperation is necessary to serve the state better.
