EFCC nabs four suspected Internet fraudsters in Abuja

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested four suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.
Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Dele Oyewale, on Friday, 28 June 2024, said the suspects were picked up in a pre-dawn operation in the Karu area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in fraudulent internet activities.
Oyewale explained items recovered from the suspects include a black-coloured Lexus AS 350 car with Abuja number plate: YAB115CE, Toyota Camry ash and another with number plate: RSH 993 CV, mobile phones and laptops.
He said that they would be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
