EFCC nabs 35 suspected Internet fraudsters in Auchi

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 35 suspected internet fraudsters in Auchi, Edo State.
Head, Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, EFCC, on Monday in a statement made available to newsmen, said the suspects were arrested in Vigilante Street, off Sabo Ibenafo Road and the Back of Yak areas of the town.
According to him, their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.
He stated that the items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest include nine cars, eleven laptops, 46 mobile phones and two smart watches.
Oyewale added that the suspects would be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
