EFCC nabs 10 suspected Internet fraudsters in Abuja
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Abuja Zonal Directorate, on June 20, 2024, arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters.
Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Dele Oyewale, on Thursday, 27 June 2024 said the suspects were arrested at Dawaki area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, following actionable intelligence about their suspected involvement in Internet fraud.
He added that items recovered from the suspects include 13 phones, three laptops, and three cars.
According to him, the suspects will be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
