Dangote Refinery inauguration: LASG asks residents to plan movement around Lekki-Epe corridor

…charges LASTMA, and others for effective traffic management of the event

The Lagos State Government has asked residents living around the Lekki-Ekpe corridor to plan their movement as Dangote Refinery at Lekki-Epe will be inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, 22nd May 2023, between 6.00 am and 2.00 pm.

Dr Frederic Oladeinde, Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, said in line with the event, the Lagos State Government is reminding residents of the need to plan their movement in and out of the Lekki-Epe zone.

He stated that an earlier release by the state government had explained that the plan was necessary due to the high vehicular movement that will be witnessed in the axis.

According to him, the state government has assured that the Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and other traffic enforcement Personnel would be on duty to ensure effective traffic management.

He, however, asked motorists to cooperate with the travel advisory to forestall avoidable delays in travel time.
