Controversial Nigerian DJ arrested over alleged death threats to president’s son
Popular Nigerian Street DJ and internet personality Ademola Abiodun, widely known as DJ Chicken, has reportedly been arrested following allegations that he threatened to kill Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
The development was disclosed by content creator Tunde Perry during a livestream on Thursday night. Perry claimed that DJ Chicken was taken into police custody as a direct result of the alleged threats.

Explaining the context behind the arrest, Perry said, “DJ Chicken did a video that Tinubu can’t win the next election. Knowing fully well that Tinubu is the only Yoruba man contesting for the next presidential election in 2027. And said even if Tinubu wins, he will kill Seyi Tinubu. The president and his son are not responsible for his arrest, but those close to the presidency did.”
