Body of new media practitioner found in Kwara
The Governor of Kwara State, Mr AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has demanded a thorough investigation to unearth the mystery behind the death of a young and promising media personality, Yusuf Mubaarak (27) in Ilorin.
He made the demand in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye in Ilorin.
The governor described the death of Mubaarak as shocking, condemned the circumstances that led his tragic and expressed heart-felt condolences to the deceased’s family, friends, and the youth communities in the state.
He assured all that everything would be done to “identify and bring the perpetrators of this cowardly act to justice”.
“No resources should be spared to get justice for Mubaarak and his family.
“We charge the security agencies to cast their nets as widely as possible to answer all pending questions around his painful death,” the governor stressed.
According to sources, corroborated by informant247, Kwara State was thrown into mourning as the lifeless body of 27-year-old Yusuf Mubaarak, a promising new media personality, was discovered under mysterious circumstances.
The shocking incident prompted Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to demand a thorough investigation by security agencies into the tragedy.
Sources added that Mubaarak, a native of Ilorin, went missing on Wednesday night, a development that left his family and friends deeply concerned.
However, his lifeless body was eventually located around the Unity area of Ilorin, the state capital on Saturday evening and was laid to rest in Ilorin amidst tears from friends, associates, and acquaintances.
