APC loses another chieftain in Osun

Osun APC has lost one of its staunch members as he resigned from the ruling party.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Osun State has lost one of its staunch members again, Dr Michael Olugbile popularly known as DMO who resigned from the ruling party today.

Olugbile who is an aspirant of the House of Representatives for Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency in Osun State made his resignation from APC known in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday.

He said, “It’s with mixed feelings that I write to inform you that after many days and weeks of consultation with different stakeholders, last Sunday, I was at my ward meeting one more time to say thank you to party members for their support over the years before tendering my membership resignation letter from APC.

“Having been part of APC since inception, it was indeed an emotional moment to say goodbye for now to this family and political associate with whom I have built a good relationship over the years. While it was a difficult decision, the political assignment I have at this time requires a platform which as God planned it, couldn’t be APC at this time.

“The membership resignation letter attached above provides other specific details of why I have no option but to say goodbye to APC at this time.

“Please note that while I inevitably leave the APC, this does not mean an end to our individual non-political relationships as I am sure by God’s grace, our paths will continue to cross but I will surely miss our political engagements in APC.

“I pray that God will make the re-election of Mr Governor to be easy and for him to win with a landslide even as the party continues to put in the required work,” the statement read.
