Akwa Ibom NIPR celebrates World PR Day Thursday
The Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will on Thursday commemorates the 2023 World PR Day during its July meeting.
A statement from the Chapter’s Media Unit said: “The event is internationally celebrated by PR Practitioners and the 2023 event is themed, ‘Harnessing the Power of Public Relations.’ This year’s event is a bumper pack for us.”
According to the statement, the event, which is scheduled to hold at the Image House, Off Information Drive, Uyo, by 4:00 pm, would be anchored by the Zonal Director of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Mr Uduak Obot, MNIPR.
The Chapter Chairman of the Institute, Mr Nsemeke Udoakpan, has accordingly invited Public Relations Practitioners within and outside the state as well as members of the public to take advantage of the event.
