Her death comes approximately a year after she returned to acting following a successful battle with breast cancer.
In August 2025, Osoba announced her screen comeback in an emotional video, expressing gratitude to fans and colleagues for their support during her treatment.
Reflecting on her journey at the time, she shared how her 2024 diagnosis, initially mistaken for hormonal changes before further tests confirmed a tumour, had reshaped her perspective, inspiring her to advocate for early detection and support others facing serious health challenges.
