Sanwo-Olu tours mega Ajegunle School ahead of inauguration
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday inspected the newly completed Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle ahead of its official commissioning in the coming days.
Barring any last-minute changes, President Bola Tinubu is expected to inaugurate the 36 schools within the complex, a flagship project of the Sanwo-Olu administration.

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday inspected the newly completed Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle ahead of its official commissioning in the coming days.
Barring any last-minute changes, President Bola Tinubu is expected to inaugurate the 36 schools within the complex, a flagship project of the Sanwo-Olu administration.
Located in the Ajegunle community, the Tolu Schools Complex comprises 16 junior secondary schools, 15 senior secondary schools and five primary schools, with a combined population of over 20,000 pupils and students.
Built on 11.73 hectares of land and bordered by a lagoon, the facility features extensive sporting infrastructure, including a football pitch, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as other recreational and social amenities.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, stated that the complex is widely regarded as the largest school community in Africa.
Speaking during the inspection, Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to infrastructure development and the delivery of quality, affordable education across Lagos State.
Residents of Ajegunle turned out in large numbers to applaud the project, while students who briefly engaged with the governor expressed appreciation for the new learning facilities.
