The Federal Government has honored Start Innovation Hub with a strategic partner recognition certificate. This is for their contribution to the development of tech training at the grassroots.

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) issued the certificate. This was done following the completion of Cohort 2 of the 3MTT programme by Start Innovation Hub.

The 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme is designed by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. It aims to generate technical talent in collaboration with the NITDA and multiple stakeholders. This is to realise the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision. The vision is to create two million digital jobs by 2025. Already, SIH has completed Cohort 3 of the programme.

The certificate was signed by Dr Bosun Tijani, Minister of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), also signed it. The certificate described the tech company as a “lighthouse of opportunity”.

“In honour of your exceptional service as a 3MTT Learning Partner for Cohort 2. Your centre has been a lighthouse of opportunity, helping us bring tech training to the grassroots. Our impact travels through you,” the certificate said.

NITDA notified Start Innovation Hub (SIH) about an exciting development. SIH has been pencilled in to feature in NITDA’s 3MTT national visibility campaign.

It said the tech company was chosen to feature in the campaign following its commitment and contribution to the programme.

In a commendation letter, NITDA praised SIH for its significant role. SIH has equipped Nigerians with the skills needed to thrive in the tech ecosystem.

“We are thrilled to share your Certificate of Partnership. It is a heartfelt token of our deep appreciation for your unwavering dedication. We greatly value your invaluable contributions to the 3MTT program.

Your efforts have played a crucial role in equipping millions of Nigerians. They now have the skills and experiences they need to thrive. The tech ecosystem is fast-evolving both locally and globally.

“We are pleased to inform you that a Partnership Plaque is being prepared. It will be delivered to you shortly.

“We’re launching a national visibility campaign. Its goal is to spotlight the incredible work of our partners. This includes your impact across digital platforms and mainstream media. “Thank you for your continued partnership, trust, and commitment to the 3MTT vision. We are honoured to work alongside you and look forward to achieving even greater impact together,” the letter stated.
