NOA cautions content creator against disrespectful comments
… commends Davido for patriotism
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has warned content creator Alamin Sarkinmola over a video skit promoting a 2023 Mercedes-Benz C300.
In the skit, an AI voice said that civil servants can only afford the Mercedes-Benz C300 by 2062.
The Director-General of NOA, Mr Lanre Issa-Onilu, reminded creators to respect hardworking civil servants. He urged them to avoid insensitive content that will bring disrespect to Nigerian civil servants.
Issa-Onilu said that the comment is disrespectful, especially during a time of social pressure and rising materialism.
Meanwhile, the agency has congratulated Davido on his achievements and global recognition.
Davido urged tourists to visit Lagos during his interview on CKO Channel. He advised not to rely on stereotypes, saying, “Everywhere is dangerous, even in Atlanta.”
The agency commended his patriotism and urged him to continue promoting Nigeria’s image worldwide.
Issa-Onilu said that the agency’s National Identity Project aims to reshape how Nigerians are seen globally.
